As a pioneer in the production of biochar in Europe, Swiss Biochar offers solutions for a climate-positive optimisation of your crop production. The supply of plants with water and nutrients is improved, CO₂ is permanently bound and emissions are reduced demonstrably. In cooperation with the Ithaka Institute, we have developed a range of fertile soil substrates with activated plant carbon, our Swiss Terra Preta. For higher harvests, more growth, healthier plants and sustainably improved soils, Swiss Biochar Terra Preta soils can be used directly. Our EBC-certified pure biochar is also used on its own as bedding and feed additive in livestock farming or can be used for self-composting and the production of your own black soil.
